In a world filled with fog thick as wool, little Aeola and her grandpa live in a lighthouse on Windy Bay. The Wind is nowhere to be found, except in Grandpa’s story about the day it disappeared. His story recounts the history of the Aeolians, the myth of the Great Beginning and the subsequent mutation of languages, the song of the whales and the birth of the Wind. Do not expect to find the traditional collapse of good and evil in The Wind’s Tale. The forces of nature are hardly evil, while human nature is seldom good.
